Professional review required
Documents requiring professional certification, statutory approval, endorsement or competent-person review — including but not limited to method statements, risk assessments, structural documentation and drawings for regulatory submission — must be reviewed and approved by the relevant qualified professional before use.
I am not a Workplace Safety and Health officer, professional engineer, registered architect, licensed electrical worker or registered quantity surveyor, and nothing I produce should be treated as issued by one.
Estimates and quantities
Quantities, estimates and pricing I prepare are based on the drawings and information you supply. Measurement from incomplete, unclear or superseded drawings carries inherent risk.
All quantities and prices must be verified by you before being issued to a client, main contractor or authority. I am not responsible for commercial decisions made on the basis of my output.
Visualization
3D renders and visualizations are produced for design communication and client presentation. They are not construction drawings, are not to scale unless explicitly stated, and must not be used for construction, fabrication or statutory submission.
Automation
Automated workflows are built to the scope agreed with you and tested before handover. You remain responsible for reviewing automated output before it is issued to any third party. I recommend an approval step in every workflow that produces client-facing documents.
